Improse is a closed-door musical experience, an improvised pianistic work on the moment, without any preparation or guide wire, except that of Thierry Eliez’s insatiable imagination. A continuous and exciting dialogue between the piano and his pianist, between the freedom of jazz and the lyricism initiated by the French Music of Messiaen, Ravel, Debussy, Satie … “Improvising alone is also improvising free, we can give up all kind of attachment, be it harmonic, rhythmic, human or technical “Thierry Eliez records an album between dog and wolf, prose and improvisation, between impressionism, surrealism and Jazz. Freed from the shackles of reason and conscience, Thierry Eliez launches himself into the creation of spontaneous paintings, applying to music the concept of automatic writing dear to the surrealists.
