简介:录制第一张录音室专辑《Frank》时，Amy Winehouse 只有19岁，拍摄《Frank》封面的摄影师是Charles Moriarty，他们于2003年在纽约相识，当年他们都是20岁上下的初生之犊。当时Amy 告诉他，很不喜欢之前拍摄的照片，觉得很不像自己。之后他们在一小时内拍完一卷底片，其中包括用在《Frank》封面的照片——穿着桃色斜肩衣服的Amy在伦敦普林斯顿街遛狗。

《Frank》当年发行后市场反应普普，2004年接受《The Observer》（观察家报）访问时，Amy 大肆表达不满：“这张专辑某些状况把我逼到他妈的苦涩的小角落。这张专辑我从来没有重头到尾听过一遍，我家里也没有。哎呀～行销也搞砸了，宣传得很糟糕，全部都很混乱。令人沮丧啊！因为你跟这么多白痴一起工作，不过他们都是很善良的白痴，所以你不能讲出『你是白痴』，他们知道他们是白痴。”

以发片新人来说，这话还是说得太狂一些？Amy 在14岁时买了自己的吉他，隔年开始自己创作音乐，曾当过娱乐记者，常与乐团一起表演，2000年成为英国国家青年爵士乐团（National Youth Jazz Orchestra）的女演唱人，几乎包办《Frank》、《Back to Black》所有歌曲创作。
2007年接受《滚石杂志》采访时，Amy Winehouse 说：“我知道我才华洋溢，但我不是被摆在这里唱歌的，而是被放在这里当个老妈，还有照顾我的家庭。我喜爱我在做的事，但这不是开始，也不会是结局。”
