      Eva Cassidy1963年2月2日，Eva Cassidy出生于美国马里兰州，在她的生活里充满著艺术与音乐，而民歌与爵士是他们家族最热爱的音乐类型，就在大家欢欣鼓舞认为Cassidy的音乐被肯定之时，Eva Cassidy却遭受病魔的攻击，其实在之前Cassidy就因为在医院检查出她在颈部下方有恶性肿瘤，即使已经切除，但是由於没有长期追踪，1996年11月2日Cassidy因皮肤癌而离开了这个世界，当时她仅仅三十三岁。或许是上天补偿她吧！在她去世之後不久，华府当地颇负盛名的「华甚顿地区音乐奖」当中Cassidy不但夺下最佳女演唱人、【Live At Blues Alley】也夺得年度最佳专辑，甚至Cassidy被选为年度最佳艺人。1997年她与制作人Biondo一起努力的专辑【Eva By Heart】终於发行，也获得了更多的赞美。 Autumn Leaves
