Christopher Cross1951年出生於德州，1973年組團，後來到洛杉矶打天下，1980年發行首張同名專輯叫好又叫座，在榜上待了兩年多，至今銷售五白金。其中包括得獎的Sailing（冠軍曲），首支單曲Ride Like The Wind（亞軍曲）和兩首前20名排行曲Never Be The Same、Say You'll Be Mine。由於聲勢如日中天，浪漫喜劇【二八佳人花公子】主題曲Arthur's Theme也交由Christopher Cross演唱，結果為他添得一座奧斯卡『最佳電影歌曲』獎。
Christopher Cross在1980年頒發的第23屆葛萊美獎上大放異彩一連囊括最受矚目的『年度唱片』、『年度專輯』、『年度歌曲』、『年度新人』等四項大獎再加上『最佳演唱編曲』獎,記錄至今無人能出其右者。(資料网絡提供)
