1976年，刚出生的Kasey Chambers
就跟着老爸Bill Chambers、老妈Dian
e还有两岁的哥哥Nash来到了南澳大利
亚荒凉的纳勒博平原（Nullarbor Plain）






白天，他们在平原上猎狐、抓野兔；到了晚上，
一家人就围坐在篝火旁，弹着吉他唱起乡村音
乐，就这样过了10年。






1986年，Chambers一家重返“文明社会”，
并开始了他们的职业音乐生涯，从那时起，
Kasey Chambers就成了这个叫做『Dead
Ringer』的家族乐团的领唱。






Dead Ringer一共出了三张专辑，并在1996
年凭借专辑『Home Fires』拿下了当年的ARI
A最佳乡村音乐专辑奖。1998年，随着Bill Ch
ambers和Diane的婚姻走到了尽头，Dead
Ringer也走到了尽头，不过Kasey Chambe
rs的星途却才刚刚开始。






那一年，Kasey Chambers第一次以唱作人
的身份推出了第一张独唱专辑『The Captain』
就为她赢得个人第一个最佳乡村音乐专辑奖
（ARIA Best Country Album），2000年，
这张专辑又为她夺得了最佳女歌手奖（Best Fe
male Artist）。2002年、2004年，Kasey
Chambers先后推出了专辑『Barricades &
Brickwalls』和『Wayward Angel』






每张专辑一问世就立刻成为TOP 10上的常客，
只要有新专辑上市的年份，ARIA最佳乡村音乐
专辑和最佳女歌手奖就从未旁落，身披多张白金
唱片销量佳绩的Kasey Chambers已是名符其
实的澳大利亚乡村巨星了。
