In 2020, Bendik Hofseth will release four albums, which will eventually constitute the Forest box to be released on 9 November 2020.
The first album out is Trunks, and it will be released under Maijazz. Trunks is an instrumental record, where Bendik dedicates a song to each of his band members and to their loved ones. The concert is the first of the year for Bendik and one of the few concerts before Bendik goes out on a huge Norwegian tour in November.

The band consists of musicians with whom Bendik has played a lot, in different constellations. Super guitarist Eivind Aarset was involved right from the start when Bendik recorded the critically acclaimed IX in 1991 and has played more or less with him ever since. Helge Iberg contributed an elegant key play on the record Planets, Rivers and… IKEA from 1996, bassist Mats Eilertsen for the first time on the 2005 Itaka album, while Per Oddvar Johansen took over the drumsticks after Paolo Vinaccia past away last year.
