Apocalyptica‘基督启示录’是一支古典金属乐队，乐队成员是4位毕业于芬兰西贝流士音乐学院(Sibelius Academy)的四位大提琴手。1993年组建于芬兰的赫尔辛基，成员为四个受过古典音乐训练的大提琴手，他们让重金属完全换了模样。Apocalyptica乐队所有的乐器就是四把大提琴，虽然是用大提琴，但他们却是不折不扣的金属党。谁说只有吉它和鼓才能做出摇滚乐来，而这4把大提琴同样可以做出震撼人心的效果来，他们的演奏技巧毫不逊色，并且在一些细节的处理上更为细腻和感性。
