贝多芬的九部交响曲,可谓是划时代的杰作。自从交响曲这种形式出现,经历代大师的不断演进,到贝多芬最终完成了它华丽的转身,成为具有了完美的形式和深邃内涵的结合体。至此,每部作品基本四个乐章,每个乐章的曲式相对固定,特别是第一乐章采用奏鸣曲式,赋予作品两个主题间的交缠对比,后续乐章在此基础之上不断变化,从而使作曲家的立意得以充分表达。
从现代录音技术问世以来,贝多芬这九部交响曲的录音版本越来越多,全集和单曲的版本怕是要数以千计了吧。历代的指挥家和乐团,都会以这九部作品,作为磨砺自己的砾石和试金石,成就出一代代光彩夺目的演奏家。他们留下的这些录音各有千秋,是非常宝贵的音乐史料。其中的那些名版,相信乐友们都会有各自的喜好和收藏。
今天为大家分享的这版贝交全集,我得到后听了很久,很是喜欢。它似乎不如那些名版传播广泛,却又被数家唱片公司一版再版,我感觉它至少有两点值得关注:
1.指挥家René Leibowitz,这位波兰裔法国作曲家,指挥家,是勋伯格的弟子,布烈兹的老师,他自己也有很多现代派作品问世,也许他的现代音乐底蕴在演绎贝多芬时也会有所表露?。这个版本由他执棒皇家爱乐乐团,是为读者文摘专门录制。最值得注意的,是他在演绎中,始终追求按贝多芬原版乐谱注明的节奏和速度演奏,或许可以说在这一点上它是最接近贝多芬原意,而有别于其他大师那种貌似有些随心所欲地自由发挥。
2.这套唱片的录音,据说是威尔金森操刀,我手头不多的唱片资料中没找到确切的证据。但我听了多遍后的感觉,这个录音确实是威氏风格。当年威尔金森领军DECCA的录音室,制造出一大批经典名碟,这些录音具有一致的风格,音场宽阔,空间感充足,乐队定位准确,质感清晰通透。当年买唱片,看到是威尔金森录音,即可放心拿下,演绎如何姑且不论,起码在音效上就有了保证。建议大家先听听耳熟能详的贝五六,感受一下。 |
