At 18 years old Delfina Cheb was awarded a scholarship to get her double degree in Jazz composition and Voice performance at Berklee College of music. There she explored jazz and folkloric music from different regions such as south America, North America and the balkans. There she studied with greats such as Kenny Werner, Kurt Elling, Dominique Eade and Toninho Horta. Now she is getting her masters degree in contemporary improvisation at the New England Conservatory and producing her debut album with the acclaimed producer Javier Limon.
