The meeting is twofold. The repertoire of Edith Piaf and Gus Viewfinder revisited by two iconic artists of the jazz scene. It was under the double sign of the Kid and one of the first jazz accordionists, Richard Galliano and Sylvain Luc orchestrate their reunion. More than twenty years after their collaboration within the Galliano-Lassus trio, the Bayonne guitarist and accordionist Cannes are elegantly swinging a centennial directory. Delicately, in mutual listening, by launching challenges and competitions without either outbid or dressing, their melee is particularly impressive and necessary that some themes ( The Crowd, The Hymn to Love La Vie en rose, I regret nothing ...) we are almost too well known. The magic of this album is where. In the capacity of Sylvain Luc and Richard Galliano to monopolize these songs, without abusing them or, conversely, leave them in some mothballs.
