Simply Red出自於英國的藍調樂團，樂團最早發跡於八Ｏ年代的曼徹斯特，由Mick組成龐克樂團，解散後，Simply Red正式問世，幾首經典名曲，如『Stars』、『Money' too night』、『Holding back the years』等，將這支樂團推向事業高峰，也讓歌聲揚名海外!
成軍十餘年，以If You Don't Know Me By Now、Holding Back The Years、Stars等多首風靡全世界，也是流行樂壇的常勝軍，主唱Mick Hucknall曾被譽為與Paul Young、George Michael並列為全英三大最富黑人靈魂歌曲氣息的白人男歌手。
