他就是Luther Vandross，美国最伟大的黑人男歌手之一。

在R&B音乐这个属于年轻人的世界里，Luther Vandross称得上
是大器晚成，直到三十岁时才发行第一张专辑《Never Too Much》
之后便一发不可收，继之而来的十三张专辑都达到了白金销量，被称
为是80年代R&B音乐三巨头之一。

在2004年的格莱美奖上，Luther Vandross一曲“Dance With My
Father”感动无数乐迷，令他一举拿下年度最佳单曲、最佳蓝调歌手和
最佳蓝调专辑三项大奖。该曲来自于 Luther自己真实的故事，一个7岁
孩子的记忆，一点点忧伤、更多的却是那些遥远而温暖的细节和情绪……
可惜他因健康情况未能出席，以录影带的方式带去了他的祝福和感言
：“记住，我一定会再回来的，因为，我相信爱的力量！”
