菲尔·柯林斯（Phil Collins）于1951年1月30日出生于伦敦，
他是那种少数既能够获得广大观众热烈欢迎，同时又能受到圈
内著名乐手敬重和赞扬的歌手。









事实上，除了一些成人流行歌曲，跨越出这些范围之外的其他
领域对菲尔·柯林斯而言也是游刃有余的，因为他不但曾经是
爵士合奏乐团(Br-andX)，同时也是成绩非凡的艺术摇滚乐团
(Genesis创世纪乐团)的成员之一。








菲尔·柯林斯更被乐界拥戴为世界上最佳摇滚鼓手之 一。自从
94年发行的《Both Sides Of The Strong》之后，一连串发
生了许多事。在事业方面，Phil Collins正式宣布结束长期来
与Genesis的合作关系，至于个人生活方面，在历经了婚变的
阴霾之后，也找到另一位相知伴侣，开始全新的生活。









Phil Collins所经历的这些心灵的转变全部反映在新专辑
《Dance Into The Light》的组织构架上，它是一张
Phil Collins个人独立完成的专辑，完全忠实的呈现出
他原本的构想，以吉它为基础开始编曲，亲自完成鼓的部
分，因此极具节奏性，颇有民族音乐的味道。Phil Collins
的音乐生涯用他自己的话来说即是“让乐迷继续听到我创作
出更棒的音乐。”
