美国流行乐坛似乎从来就不缺少出色的R&B女子组合，无论是早年的TLC，SWV，还是后来的天命真女（Destiny's Child）。作为美国流行R&B界的后起之秀，Cherish很好的继承了TLC和Destiny's Child等杰出前辈组合的优良传统：动感的舞曲节奏，扎实的唱功，优美的和声等等。在Cherish的歌声中，我们可以明显的看到TLC和Destiny's Child的影子。虽然Cherish的音乐并没有任何新意，但不能否认的是，在Destiny's Child解散之后，似乎还没有一支女子R&B组合的表现像Cherish这般抢眼过。凭借天籁般的和声，Cherish有望成为美国新一代R&B女子组合的代表。
早在2003年，亚特兰大R&B四姐妹组合Cherish就发行了由金牌制作人杰梅因·杜普里（Jermaine Dupri）制作的首支单曲《Miss P.》。 之后，Cherish成功与Warner Bros.旗下的Ashanti Records签定了和约，首张专辑呼之欲出。但是非常遗憾的是，由于某种原因，Cherish原计划发行的首张正式专辑《The Moment》宣告搁浅。直到2006年夏天，Cherish才带着她们的新单曲《Do It to It.》宣告复出。这支单曲在Billboard Pop单曲榜和R&B/Hip Hop单曲榜中都打入到了前20名当中。
Cherish的四姐妹----Farrah，Neosha，双胞胎Felisha和Fallon都是从两岁到六岁之间便开始唱歌，而从七岁开始他们就已经开始接受了专业的声乐训练。在离开Warner Bros.之后，Cherish遇到了同样来自亚特兰大的制作人Jazze Pha。在不断的接触中，Cherish逐渐与Jazze Pha碰出了火花。在这之后，Cherish顺理成章的与Jazze Pha的Sho'Nuff Records签了约并赢得了在Capitol公司发行专辑的机会。
2006年8月，Cherish的首张正式专辑《Unappreciated》终于面世，专辑发行首周以9万1千张的销量名列Billboard 200专辑榜的第四位。
