德国美声金属乐团Xandria成立于2000年，音乐风格充满了古典的哥德民谣风味，主要团员为主唱Lisa Schaphaus、吉他手/键盘手Marco Heubaum、吉他手Philip Restemeier、鼓手Gerit Lamm – Schlagzeug，2003年4月发表自行制作的首张迷你专辑《Kill The Sun》，受到乐坛好评及瞩目，之后加盟德国金属名厂Drakkar，于2004年5月发表以探讨情欲为主的第二张专辑《Ravenheart》。
现在的歌特流行美女与野兽,一般是美声女声加上背景的黑死男声,然后乐器呼应,很容易就可以表达感情.但是Xandria不一样.如果同类相称的话,她是只有美女的歌特,或者不能算是完全的歌特.这只乐队没有男声,全部演唱都是女声完成,女声唱的不错,但是不能算高亢,与nightwish的主唱之类相比.他们比较在行于制造气势,在这点上,他们确实做的很好.曲风比较流行,适合大众欣赏.
