12年后，Jean Françaix才接着创作了下一步芭蕾舞剧音乐作品，黑夜的女士们。这是一部被描述为“独幕关于猫的芭蕾舞剧”，根据Jean Anouilh故事创作，由Roland Petit编舞。
生于1957年，师从Aurèle Nicolet学习长笛，瑞士籍指挥Thierry Fischer自2001年开始担任北爱尔兰管弦乐团的首席指挥兼艺术指导。
