One look at the cover art for "ANTI", and it is almost impossible to take your eyes away. Minimalistic, yet, striking, it calls for a closer look. A semi-naked boy child, wearing an over-sized golden crown covering his eyes, and holding a black baloon, with red, blood-like paint smattered across the image. What this actually is, a young Rihanna from her first day at kindergaten, which, according to Israeli artist Roy Nachum who designed it, is portrayed like this as a "metaphor of a woman blinded by her displaced values and desires". It, also, symbolizes the "representation of bringing something new to music". And, if one is to further take into account Rihanna's recent, mesmerising ANTIdiary mini videos that led to the release of the album, it becomes clear that "ANTI" is not a basic album release, but a well thought-out and brilliantly executed project, aiming to not just simply "be" a product, but to intrigue audiences.
