Dream was an American pop girl group famous for such hits as "He Loves U Not" and "This is Me." The quartet was originally formed in October 1998 by talent scout Judith Fontaine, who selected Holly Blake Arnstein, Melissa Schuman, Ashley Poole, and Alex Chester, four teens from California, to comprise this new girl group. The original name of the group was First Warning but later changed to Dream. More changes were in store: Chester was replaced by Arnstein's best friend, Diana Ortiz, and the girls left Fontaine and were then signed by Sean "Puffy" Combs (now known as Diddy) to his Bad Boy Records label. Fontaine later sued Sean Combs and Arnstein, Schuman, and Poole, but lost her case in court.

Dream hit the music scene in 2000 with their hit single "He Loves U Not", and their debut album It Was All A Dream (Album) in 2001. The first single from this album, "He Loves U Not," peaked at #2 on MTV's TRL and became the first video by a girl group to be retired from the countdown. The subsequent single, "This Is Me," enjoyed a fair amount of success as well; the music video hit #1 on TRL. The final video from the album, "This Is Me (remix)" featured rapper Kain as well as Diddy. A fourth single and video, "In My Dreams," were planned but fell through. Play Along Toys even released Dolls of the group in 2001. In April 2002, Melissa Schuman left the group to pursue her dream of acting. A lengthy search led by Diddy and the three remaining members led to 15-year-old Kasey Sheridan becoming the newest and youngest member of the group.  

Dream is an american girl group.Reality is Dream's second album. It was completed by and set to be released in 2003 but never hit retail stores. It is currently available for purchase on France's Virgin Records music site. The 2 singles from the album "Crazy" and "That's OK" can be heard on the Dream MySpace .They disbanded on 2003.
