Cuban CuCu Diamantes is many things: glitzy, glamorous, funny, emotional, thougtful and now, finally, a solo artist in her own right. She co-founded Latin funk's Yerba Buena with composer/producer Andres Levin and, while she might have been one of the driving forces of the group, musically she played second fiddle to some of the group's colorful leads.
Now with her debut solo album, CuCu Diamantes is first-chair all the way. Cuculand is an album that's fresh, contemporary and funky. It's also an album that will show you a new side of an old favorite.
2009拉丁GRAMMY提名女歌手,查了不少资料,有说是美国纽约也有说古巴的,看她SALSA的曲风,很有可能是古巴移民!!!
