凯西·马斯格雷夫斯(Kacey Musgraves),美国新晋乡村音乐创作型女歌手,于2012年完成了个人首个单曲的制作。Merry Go 'Round获得了十佳乡村单曲。2013年首张个人专辑和Kacey, Shane McAnally, Luke Laird共同制作完成。Kacey Musgraves8岁就开始在“大庭广众“下表演，9岁就创作了自己的第一首歌。而她的创作才能更是在大牌Martina McBride和Miranda Lambert的专辑中有所展现，其中她和Miranda Lambert共同创作的Mama’s Broken Heart被滚石评为2011年50首最佳歌曲的第26首。凯西是有才但不张扬的乡村歌手。首单从演唱到伴奏都那般淡然自若，不曾有一点强势的感觉，获得了许多歌迷的喜爱。
在2013年11月7日举办的CMA Awards上，乡村新星Kacey Musgraves备受瞩目，她与Taylor Swift一起以六项提名领跑。最后Kacey Musgraves获得了年度最佳新人的奖项，并在颁奖礼现场为观众演唱了她的新单曲Follow Your Arrow。
在2014年1月26日（北京时间2014年1月27日9:00)举行的第56届格莱美奖上，Kacey Musgraves更是大放光彩，以四个提名和Taylor Swift以及17岁的才女Lorde成为当晚被提名最多的女艺人。最后Kacey Musgraves不仅以"Merry Go 'Round"拿到最佳乡村单曲，更以个人首张录音室专辑Same Trailer Different Park 击败了其他四位乡村巨星  。
