这首歌是法国纪录片《The Peuple migrateur/鸟与梦飞翔》的主题歌。这个记录片主要是记录侯鸟的迁徙，讲述了一个关于生命和承诺的故事。拍摄工作动用了300多个人拍了两年最终剪辑成70分钟长的一段，可见制作方的诚意了。配乐自然也不能马虎，由Nick Cave操刀的主题曲，绝对配得上这部杰作。音乐很好地描绘出了候鸟遵从生命的本能，万里跋涉的那种景象。夜深人静一人独处时听听，能让人心中感受到一种特别的感动与平和。
虽然是法国纪录片，不过歌是英文的。
