The seventh studio album from Scottish indie rock outfit Arab Strap, As Days Get Dark is the first release from the duo since 2005's The Last Romance. Described by member Malcolm Middleton as a record "about hopelessness and darkness, but in a fun way," the project spawned from the group's 2016 re-formation, where Middleton and bandmate Aidan Moffat reunited for a run at the festival scene.
