时隔三年，来自广州的后摇滚/器乐摇滚乐队 Space Station 带来了第二张录音室专辑《家、宿命和来自本世纪初的迷雾》，收录了4首改编自乐队与现代舞跨界合作的原创作品。
在《家、宿命和来自本世纪初的迷雾》，Space Station乐队尝试去讨论一个沉重的话题：命运。一个人，从出生到成长，每一个生命中的细节，都在以几乎察觉不到的影响，雕刻着我们生命的走向。乐队对一个青年所要经历的人生阶段进行锋利的切割，从中摘取无数从模糊懵懂的童年，到青葱动荡的青年，所能经历的生活片段和场景，汇集成了4个截然不同，却藕断丝连的故事和意象。
相比起之前的作品，《家、宿命和来自本世纪初的迷雾》的主题和整体概念上更为抽象，红、绿、蓝三种颜色的情绪贯穿始终。而在音乐上，Space Station乐队在保留一贯的音乐特点——交错的旋律、高增益的音墙以及敲击感的同时，尝试突破过往作品的桎梏，追求更多样化的表达：多元化的音色、自由的演奏和由音效塑造的独特氛围。
惨淡的人生让人总是不禁怀疑自己，《家、宿命和来自本世纪初的迷雾》希望能告诉正在迷茫的你们：它不一定能提供一个答案，它只是很努力地在试图拨开你心中的迷雾，如同你也依旧在顽强地生存。

Polished and honed over a 3 year period, Guangzhou Post-Rock/Instrumental band, Space Station proudly present their second studio album  which includes 4 rewritten tracks from the crossover period in 2016.
On this follow-up album, , Space Station discuss the topic of Fate.
From birth to death, every life has details and events which we can trace through our lives, often in an indistinguishable way; everything you come across on your journey will influence your life in some undecipherable way.
Space Station presents songs emotively showing the sharp sides of youthful life, picking out little stories of life from childhood to young adulthood, composed into 4 major stories: at first glance, seemingly irrelevant but in hindsight, actually strongly connected.
In comparison to the 2015 Debut album,  presents a thematic approach that is far more abstract.
To illustrate the abstract approach, 3 specific 'color signifiers' are used to delineate 3 different expressions and moods on the album; Red, Green and Blue (RGB), These 3 different expressions run thematically through the entire album.
Speaking of the music on this album; Space Station maintain their unique trademark sound: the use of alternating melody, a high-gain wall of sound and stark rhythms & drum patterns. Meanwhile, the band continue to maintain their ardent pursuit of diversified expressionism utilizing multiple sound textures, improvisational inter-play and their well-known use of unique sonic atmosphere.
Misery in life always causes doubt. As a complete thematic album,  will connect with your inner confusion: It may not answer all your questions or completely remove your doubts, but rather it makes an effort to dispel the mist, effectively making things a bit clearer as you continue your struggle to live LIFE your own way, by carving out your own unique path in your struggle to achieve and accomplish.
