UK charts(英国流行音乐排行榜)早的英国流行音乐排行榜诞生于1952年，最初只有单曲榜。1952年11月14日，New Musical Express(N.M.E.)杂志刊登出了第一份英国单曲榜榜单，最初的榜单中只有12支单曲，获得冠军的是Al Martino的《Here In My Heart》。
