Impending Doom是由美国几个基督徒组成的死亡金属乐队。歌词主要是阐述他们对耶稣的信仰。乐队对称自己对上帝的崇拜是Goreship，也就是Gore+Worship，意思就是用“凶狠”的音乐来崇拜上帝。早期风格偏重Brutal Death Metal（新派残忍死亡金属），09年风格大转，硬核（HARDCORE）元素得到了加强，转型成为了一支deathcore（死核）乐队。其实Impending Doom的听众们真正喜欢的是他们的核类作品。
