96年是Yolanda声名大噪的一年
首先她的《Yolanda Live in Washington》专辑被提年该年葛莱美奖最佳福音女歌手
之后福音乐界首屈一指的乐团Kirk Franklin & the Family
也邀请Yolanda参加他们的全美巡回演唱
于是顺利打开Yolanda在美国的知名度
99年，Yolanda与ELEKTRA签约发行
首张跨足流行乐界的专辑《福至心灵》（Mountain High，Valley Low）
不但称后福音榜榜首
还成功打入流行榜Top30
销售大破百万
也顺利为Yolanda夺下生平第一座葛莱美奖
在2003年的电影《The Sum Of All Fears》中
