◆来自加拿大美艳动人的R&B才女Tamia，从小参加表演及歌唱的课程，让Tamia展现出的精艳才华，获得当地无数音乐奖项之肯定！在一次 Party的聚会，被Quincy Jones所赏赐，慧眼独到的签入自创厂牌Qwest旗下，初试啼声於Quincy Jones1994年的专辑「Q's Jook Joint」中，先发单曲"You Put A Move On My Heart"不仅成为排行畅销之作，更获葛莱美『节奏蓝调最佳女演唱人』提名，专辑中另一首与Babyface合唱的"Slow Jams"，也同时被提名『节奏蓝调最佳对唱组合』！隔年与R&B/SOUL三女伶Chaka Khan、Gladys Knight及Brandy为电影【Set It Off】合唱出的动人抒情佳作"Missing You"，又再度获得葛莱美奖的提名！同时受到灵魂列车的青睐，获得多项提名的肯定；1997再次为电影【Speed II: Cruise Control】献唱的畅销抒情曲"Make Tonight Beautiful"，再次赢得热烈的回响，并为电影献出萤幕处女秀，其中爆笑之桥段留给观众记忆犹新的深刻映像！
