Ananda Project consists of a multi-talented group of artists {Chris Brann (keys/dj featuring: Julius Speed (rhodes/keys), Alex Lattimore (vocals), Tim DeLaney (bass), Kebbi Williams (sax/flute), and Special Guest Heidi Levo (London, UK)} who have collaborated to release a special double CD release entitled Night Blossom.
In disc One the finest reworks from Fire Flower (Ananada Project’s 2007 Album) includes productions by Grammy Award nominated remixer Jay-J, Kevin Hedge ofBlaze, Frankie Feliciano, Pasta Boys and previously unreleased remixes from Joe Claussell and Uk remix duo Idjut Boys.
Night Blossom also includes a 2nd bonus CD remixed by Ananda founder Chris Brann who includes all the classics continuously remixed in all their glory. Here is our full review of this incredible mix:
Sweet dry vocals warm you up with Into The Sunrise featuring an almost 70’s discoish flavour. Masterfully blended into King Britt’s Sunset Mix of Secrets, if you haven’t felt the warmth yet, the lyrical spectrum of the following tracks will ease all your troubles and your worries. And then something magical happens with a Moment Before Dreaming as its harmonious rhythm puts you in a trance like state.
