Those of you that were at the show might remember additional performances. Typically, we use the first song to gauge recording levels and this is not suitable for releasing. We may, however, remix those in the future. Please check back with us if you are interested.
No separation or headphones were used by the artist during the recording process. The performances were recorded in multi-track direct to DSD 2.8 (direct stream digital) on the Sonoma System and mixed live at CAS to the KorgMR2000S to DSD 5.6. No effects or eq were added. Microphones used were Neumann KM184, AKG 414, Neumann u-87 through our proprietary silver cable to Millennia Preamps. The preamps went to the EMM labs AD directly to the Sonoma at DSD 2.8 for individual tracks out EMM DA to the Soundcraft 200 mixing console. The console 2 track output went directly to the Korg recording device at DSD 5.6. For monitoring during the performance, we used Sony headphones.
We also had the opportunity to play back the recordings to our audience through the wonderful Sony AR1 speakers powered by Pass Labs amps.
