也许这将是Ash以乐队形式发行的最后一张专集，death of the album，虽然乐队也公开表示不会就此停止音乐旅程，还是会在今后出些单曲，但是明眼人都看的出，王朝总会有衰败的时刻。用动荡来形容Ash近年来的状况是再合适不过了。去年女吉他手Charlotte Hatherley的单飞似乎就已经隐约埋下了伏笔。在6（乐队的第6张唱片）这个数字上划上句号似乎很难说的过去，更是很难让大批的Fans接受。北爱尔兰最伟大的乐队之一就这样像流星一样陨落。Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones的著名制作人Michael Brauer与乐队共同完成了这张非常具有意义的唱片。所选的这两首歌曲，End Of The World 和Twilight Of The Innocents和乐队以往活力的punk-pop风格相比有很大不同，回归了质朴的哼唱，没有了旋律上的起伏，似乎照射出乐队目前的状态，世界的尽头还有无邪的夕阳，就让一切随着时光慢慢流逝吧。
