      Santana是一支乐队的名字，这支乐队成功的溶合了blues, rock,和Latin等音乐元素，并在过去的二十多年中享有很好的国际声誉。Santana还是一个吉它手Carlos Santana,的名字，他在那段时间里领导乐队并录制了其它的唱片。从它最初的表现来看，the Santana Blues Band是一组平等的组合，Carlos作为它的领袖只是因为音乐家协会的要求。这个组合于六十年代中期在San Francisco成立，并在那时一些迷幻摇滚组合主导的舞会中赢得了首次的赞誉。虽然，它有着拉丁和非洲的根源，但它并不十分适合这种迷幻的音乐。乐队在Bill Graham的指导下成长并当它在1969年八月的Woodstock Festival中露脸时和Columbia签约。那时的人员，除了Carlos之外，还包括Gregg Rolie (演唱和键盘), Dave Brown (贝斯), Mike Shrieve (鼓手), Armando Peraza (打击乐和演唱), and Mike Carabello and Jose Areas (打击乐).



         昨晚我在看American Idol , 才发觉这首歌曲的, 大会订下所有的参赛者都必须以40's , 50's ,60's 和70's歌曲为主来考验的, 刚好给我听到了! 第一次听到的时候, 我就喜欢了, 虽然我不大爱听摇滚歌曲, 但是我觉得Santana乐队把这首歌曲演绎的非常精彩, 特别的加入拉丁和非洲音乐文化..........这个真的让我着迷了...........呵呵............
