深刻柔情,Dishwalla-Angels or Devils

Dishwalla是一支来自美国加州圣巴巴拉市的非主流摇滚乐队
乐队成立于1994年，迄今一共出版了五张专辑。乐队的名字
Dishwalla来自于印度的一个俗语，意指使用非法设备破解卫
星电视的加密信号并与邻居分享的人。Dishwalla的音乐属于
post-grunge风格，他们将摇滚的深刻柔情与流行元素完美
融合创作出一股新鲜的音乐风格。在90年代Dishwalla与着
名的Semisonic、Gin Blossoms、Fastball一起被誉为音
乐新潮流的先锋乐队。









1995年，Dishwalla乐队发行了他们的首张专辑Pet Your
Friends，但是这张专辑在长达一年的时间里都在唱片店的
货架上冷落蒙尘，直到专辑中的第三首单曲Counting Blue
Cars在摇滚电台大受欢迎，登上Billboard杂志的Hot 100
名单（名列第15位）并且横扫1996年的各大音乐排行榜。这
张专辑也因此热卖，销量超过一百万张。









但是也因为这首单曲取得了如此好的成绩，在之后很长一段
时间里，Dishwalla更多的被视作为一支昙花一现的乐队
（One-Hit Wonder），因为Dishwalla所属的唱片公司
重组影响了他们下一张唱片的发行，他们在此之后的单曲再
也没有取得过类似的好成绩了。不过Dishwalla的忠实乐迷
们并不因此而觉得失望，乐队更换唱片公司后发行的第三张
专辑Opaline得到了乐迷的一致好评。2005年，Dishwall
a发行了他们的第五张专辑，也是乐队的同名专辑Dishwalla。









Dishwalla总体来说颠覆了，或者扭转了摇滚在我试听旅途
的疲倦，麻木。它是一场新鲜的盛宴，看来摇滚柔和了流行
元素即可让它获得重生。在我看来，流行元素的加入恰倒好
处，使之不失原味，并且主唱有点沧桑但很性感的嗓音就让
它听起来那么对口，这是对于那些期待听到些不同的声音，
期待在这个摇滚泛滥的时代听到熟悉又耐久新鲜声音的众生
这里边当然包括我，所以Dishwalla是个不错的选择，至少
会让你耳前一新，并又有感觉的摇起头，回到某个时期，在
故地重游期间并不感到失望

我听到他们的二张专集，《Opaline》和《Pet.Your.Frien
ds》，张张优秀。他们在和声跟旋律方面有着不错的创作才
华，演奏上从简单中见功利，因为最简单的也许是最难的。
即使他们的表现形式很传统，但是因为以上方面的优秀，所
以你不会感到乏味。主唱对歌曲高潮的演唱把握的相当不错
他们就好象一个会动的感觉器，你的感觉到哪了，他们就会
让音乐跟着你一起高兴起来。如此随心所欲，如此舒服的听
这对众生来说，是最难得的事情。
