美国福克斯(FOX)电视台2006年第五季《美国偶像》(American Idol)第四名Chris Daughtry与美国19 Recordings/RCA唱片公司签约，今年年末推出的首张个人专辑。
两个多月前的五月十日，福克斯电视台《美国偶像》歌唱比赛真人秀第五季四进三节目中淘汰了二十六岁的男选手Chris Daughtry，不知道跌破了多少人的眼镜。之后传出消息称，Chris Daughtry获得了著名摇滚乐队Fuel的邀请，希望他能担任该乐队主唱，因为Chris在之前《美国偶像》节目中演唱的该乐队歌曲“Hemorrhage (In My Hands)”实在太出色了。但出乎意料的是，Chris拒绝了这个慷慨的邀请，反而决定追逐自己的演唱事业。
