关于《求主怜悯》
1992年，意大利传奇摇滚巨星Zucchero与著名U2's Bono合作了一首二重唱Miserere。为了说服Pavarotti（帕瓦洛帝）与他合唱录制这首歌，Zucchero公开征求男高音，以便录制试听样本给Pavarotti听。Zucchero选上了Andrea Bocelli，因为他有其他歌手所没有的“灵魂”。
当Pavarotti（帕瓦洛帝）试听了样本后，惊为天人，马上向Zucchero打听，并说：“谢谢你写了这么美丽的歌曲。可是你不必找我唱了。让Andrea Bocelli唱吧，他是最好的人选了！”虽然如此Zucchero还是说服了Pavarotti与他一起灌录了这首横扫欧洲的歌曲。
当Zucchero到欧洲巡回演出时，他邀请了Andrea取代Pavarotti和他一起演唱Miserere这首热门歌曲。Andrea的歌声奠定了在演唱会中独唱的地位。
