继Keane，Thirteen Senses等之后，又一支Piano-Rock乐队脱颖而出。Relevant Magazine用“如赞美诗般的优美旋律”来形容这支乐队，HM Magazine甚至迫不及待将它列入了年度最佳专辑之一，其实力由此可见一斑。
　　这支成立于美国俄亥俄州辛辛那提市的新锐乐队名为Seabird，乐队由四人组成，分别是主唱/键盘Aaron Morgan，贝斯Chris Kubik，鼓手Aaron Hunt及吉他Ryan Morga。在谈及专辑《Til We See The Shore》时，Aaron Morgan说到：“这些歌曲都是同现实生活中的斗争、关系、告别、表白的勇气等紧密相连的。我们想与听众一起分享我们的情绪，这其中包括胜利与失败的经历，以及习以为常的人与事，我们都能从中获得不一般的启发。”在Aaron Morgan看来，歌词是柔软诚挚的，并希望这张唱片能给干枯已久的心灵带去滋润的绿洲。
　　本着“平易近人和供人依赖”的音乐追求，Seabird翱翔在自由的音乐海洋上。对于生活的通透理解，将他们与听众紧密联系在一起：哪怕是在最黑暗的时刻，也有着可追求的目标，也能够让人得以拜托窒息的水面，深深地呼吸。在音乐表达上，Piano-Rock与Indie Rock的有力结合，让专辑《Til We See The Shore》听来流畅大气，又不失缜密。无论是开篇的《Black Blue》，还是作为典范推广的《Rescue》都让人印象深刻，前者的硬朗线条会变得柔和，而后者则在一开始就贴近人心。至于《Falling For You》一曲，颇有Maximilian Hecker《I am Falling Now》的意味，虽不及德国小伙子Maximilian的纤细哀伤，但也深情款款，曲中的“I am falling for you”一句，简单真挚，在反复的吟唱中，将真情表露无遗。《Stronger》来得要比其他歌曲轻快，用于引领歌曲的前奏美妙，加上紧凑的演唱，自然而然成为唱片中较为特别的一曲。在歌曲表达上，《Maggie Mahoney》与《Stronger》也有着异曲同工之妙。
　　结尾的《'til We See The Shore》中所体现出来的优美旋律，就像是乐队所保有的美好愿望一般。扎根于英伦音乐的Seabird，听来像是Coldplay、Travis和The Doves的混合体。而钢琴的存在，则让歌曲更具韵味，并赋予歌词与听众共鸣的机会，让人们领略到他们所表述的希望与斗争。
