WSD! is a Canadian five piece dance-punk band from Abbotsford, British Columbia. Their album Hit the Floor! was released in September 2005, and the band recently completed their second Canadian tour, an appearance at South by Southwest and a tour of the United States, before touring the United Kingdom and Germany. Their second album Lose All Time was released in Canada on March 20, 2007, and in the United States on Aug 18, 2007, on Paper Bag Records, in the United Kingdom on June 18, 2007, on Fierce Panda Records and in Germany, Austria and Switzerland on August 17, 2007, on PIAS. Their third album Remik's Cube was released on August 26, 2008, on Paper Bag Digital.
　　They are back! Having reinvented themselves with their spirited style of New-Wave, and a new depth of material, the band is excited to announce the details of their much-anticipated third release, XXXX, out on Paper Bag Records on Sept. 29th.
　　More excitingly, the band is planning to return to the US after being banned from the States in 2006. FYI, bassist Stephen O'Shea was prohibited from entering the US until the year 2011 due to some work-related permit issues (or government conspiracies depending on who you ask). Since that time, YSP! WSD! has been doing as much touring as possible in Canada and even parts of Asia.
　　According to Exclaim!, the band "recently found an immigration lawyer in Vermont who has expertise in these sorts of matters. She's confident I'll be able to get all the proper paperwork completed and processed in under a year. The band are hoping to have this resolved and be at SXSW 2010."

自去年加拿大独立摇滚乐队You Say Party! We Say Die!来华巡演之后，这个阵容豪华的大编制乐队在国内受到的关注度是越来越大了，他们的第三张专辑重新为乐队的乐迷带来了一场华丽丽的跳舞朋克派对，不过他们却神秘兮兮地用四个X掩盖住了这场派对的名称。 为乐队树立起名声的《Lose All Time》专辑以简单的车库曲风为基础，搭载上加拿大年轻人近几年越来越热衷的电子舞曲节奏，以及略微沙哑的一记女声，You Say Party! We Say Die!的跳舞朋克风格逐渐深入人心，《XXXX》的诞生实际上有点仓促，整张专辑从结构上来讲没有上一张来得紧凑，节奏也不够强劲，更不用说他们一直欠缺的好听的旋律了，只是以热闹为最基本氛围的这张专辑，还是不错地凸显了You Say Party! We Say Die!的作风，而整张专辑播完，也可以明显感受到乐队在创作这张专辑之时其实是围绕在一个点上进行的，也就是说在统一性上做得还算不错，这一个点即是“LOVE”，也就是乐队专辑名称上四个X所代表的单词。
