"The Rose" was covered by Irish boyband Westlife and was released as the first and only single from their eighth studio album, The Love Album. It reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart for one week in November 2006. This became the group's 14th number-one single.The single has sold over 140,000 copies in Britain so far.The band gave their first live performance of the song on Miss World 2006.
