Midnight in Paris is a recreation of a Parisian soiree in an exclusive and refined atmosphere of the late nineteenth century. The voice and the guitar, symbol of the essence of a country, like Spain, then considered peripheral, was, nevertheless, a formation capable of recreating the most exquisite spirit of the lied and the romantic song. In this record, the soprano Mariví Blasco from Valencia and the Madrid guitarist Javier Somoza invite us to travel to one of those evenings to enjoy chamber music of the most varied profiles. Marivi Blasco began studying music at the age of 7 at the Banda Union Musical de Yatova, where she studied the oboe for more than a decade. She went on to study piano and singing at the Jose Iturbi Conservatory while earning a degree in Psychology from the University of Valencia. She enjoys a busy concertizing and recording career.
