Tania Saleh is one of the rare female singers/songwriters/visual artists in the Arab world and one of the most respected indie artists in the region. Since the early 1990’s, her art mirrors the reality of the Lebanese/Arab social and political turmoil. She has experimented with various music genres, always challenging herself to explore new styles (musically, lyrically and visually), which has resulted in a fresh and original mix of alternative art forms. She revives traditional Lebanese music but also experiments with folk, alternative rock, bossa nova, jazz, classical and most recently electronic music.

Her collaborations are very eclectic: Ziad Rahbany, Toufic Farroukh, Natasha Atlas, Issam Hajali, Charbel Rouhana, Ibrahim Maalouf, Rayess Bek, Alaa Wardi, Khaled Mouzannar, Miles Copeland, Hazem Chahine, RZA, Nile Rodgers, Charlotte Caffey, Tarek El Nasser, Bernd Kurtzke, Anneli Drecker, Lisa Nordstrôm, Lina Nyberg, Mathias Eick, Kjetil Bjerkestrand, Knut Reiersrud, Bugge Wesseltoft, Kari Bremnes, Terry Evans, Joumana Haddad, Emel Methlouthi and Øyvind Kristiansen.

To date, she has released 7 albums, "Tania Saleh” 2002, “Wehde” 2011, “Live at DRM” 2012, “A Few Images” 2014, “Intersection” 2017, “Live in Barcelona” 2019 and “10 A.D.” 2021. She released many independent music videos directed by various talented Lebanese artists including Rabih Mroueh, Nadine Labaki, Chady Younes, David Habchy and Amin Dora.
